STAFF Miss Sandy Owner, Director and Teacher Sandy Read grew up with a mother who ran a daycare center for more than 25 years, and Sandy knew by first grade that she wanted to be a teacher. Her academic training is in Early Childhood Education from Highline Community College and Central Washington State University, and she ran a successful daycare/preschool in Kent for more than 12 years before moving to the Snoqualmie Valley. Sandy and her husband, Shone, have three children (Brittany, Lexie and "Moose"), and she loves making Country Junction a valuable resource for the incredible children and families that make this Valley community special. Miss Lynne Miss Leslie Lead Teacher Leslie Beck has been with Country Junction Preschool for more than 8 years. Her passion for bringing new ideas into the classroom that invite creative learning and play for all kinds of learners make her a favorite with kids and parents alike. Her experience as an art docent and RISE volunteer lends itself toward this, and Leslie is also accredited with the Washington State STARS program. She lives in the Valley with her husband and children (Jake and Allie)and is an active classroom and PTSA volunteer.
